Welcome to Tulay Académie.

Tulay Académie is an online live tutoring platform that connects learners with qualified tutors and instructors for live educational courses. Our courses may include languages, sciences, academic subjects, professional skills, and other educational programs offered through the platform.

By accessing or using Tulay Académie, creating an account, enrolling in a course, booking a tutoring session, or participating in a live class, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform or its services.

1. About Tulay Académie

Tulay Académie provides an online environment where learners can access live educational instruction from tutors through:

  • One-on-one tutoring sessions;
  • Group classes;
  • Live courses;
  • Practice sessions;
  • Educational workshops;
  • Other learning services made available through the platform.

Tulay Académie does not necessarily provide all instruction directly. Depending on the course, classes may be delivered by independent tutors or instructors who provide educational services through the platform.

Tulay Académie may offer courses to learners located in different countries. The platform is not limited to, or based exclusively in, any particular country or educational system.

2. Eligibility

To use Tulay Académie, you must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or subscribing to a course.

If you are under the legal age required to enter into a contract in your country, you may use the platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities carried out through your account.

3. Learner Enrollment and Subscriptions

Learners may subscribe or enroll in courses offered through Tulay Académie.

Before completing a subscription, learners should review the course description, schedule, duration, format, number of sessions, applicable fees, and any specific course conditions.

A subscription gives the learner access to the services specifically included in the selected course or package.

Unless otherwise stated, a subscription does not automatically provide access to all courses or services available on Tulay Académie.

Course availability, schedules, tutors, class sizes, and course content may vary.

4. Live Classes

Live classes may be delivered either:

a. One-on-one, between a learner and a tutor; or

b. In groups, with several learners participating in the same class.

Learners are expected to attend classes on time, participate respectfully, and follow the instructions of the tutor.

Tulay Académie may establish reasonable limits concerning class size, attendance, participation, and scheduling to maintain the quality of the learning experience.

5. Tutor Services

Tutors are responsible for delivering the educational instruction associated with their assigned courses or sessions.

Tulay Académie may establish qualifications, standards, procedures, and expectations for tutors using the platform.

However, the educational approach, teaching style, and instructional methods may vary from one tutor to another.

Tulay Académie reserves the right to change, replace, suspend, or remove a tutor when reasonably necessary to maintain service quality, safety, availability, or operational standards.

6. Tutor and Learner Relationship

Tulay Académie provides the platform and organizational environment through which learners and tutors interact.

Learners and tutors must communicate professionally and respectfully.

Users must not use the platform to harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or otherwise harm another person.

Tutors and learners must not use Tulay Académie to solicit inappropriate personal, financial, or commercial relationships outside the purpose of the educational service.

7. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

All course materials provided by Tulay Académie or its authorized instructors, including but not limited to:

  • Lessons;
  • Documents;
  • Presentations;
  • Exercises;
  • Videos;
  • Audio materials;
  • Images;
  • Assessments;
  • Educational resources;
  • Written content;

are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated.

Course materials are provided for the learner's personal educational use.

Learners may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, upload, modify, or commercially exploit Tulay Académie materials without prior written authorization.

Tutors also retain responsibility for respecting the intellectual property rights of third parties and must not upload or use materials they do not have the right to use.

8. Payments and Fees

The fees applicable to a course or subscription will be displayed or communicated before enrollment.

By completing a purchase or subscription, the learner agrees to pay the applicable fees.

Prices may vary depending on:

  • The course;
  • The duration;
  • The number of sessions;
  • The tutoring format;
  • The tutor;
  • The learner's selected package; or
  • Promotional offers.

Tulay Académie reserves the right to modify its prices for future subscriptions.

Any applicable taxes, transaction fees, or payment-processing charges will be handled according to the applicable payment terms and laws.

9. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions may vary depending on the course or subscription.

The applicable cancellation or refund policy will be communicated to the learner before or at the time of enrollment.

Unless otherwise stated, a learner may not claim a refund solely because they did not attend a scheduled class, failed to access the platform, or were unable to participate due to circumstances within their control.

Tulay Académie may consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

10. Class Attendance and Missed Sessions

Learners are responsible for attending their scheduled classes.

If a learner is unable to attend a class, they should follow the applicable cancellation or rescheduling procedure.

For group classes, missed sessions may not automatically be rescheduled or refunded.

For one-on-one sessions, rescheduling may be available subject to the applicable course policy and the tutor's availability.

11. Technical Requirements

Tulay Académie provides online educational services and therefore requires a compatible device and a reliable internet connection.

Learners are responsible for having:

  • A compatible device;
  • A stable internet connection;
  • Appropriate audio and video equipment when required;
  • Updated software or browsers;
  • Any other technical requirements communicated by Tulay Académie.

Tulay Académie is not responsible for interruptions caused by a learner's internet connection, device, software, electricity supply, or other circumstances outside the platform's reasonable control.

12. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes;
  • Provide false or misleading information;
  • Share their account with another person;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform;
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content;
  • Harass or abuse tutors, learners, or staff;
  • Record, reproduce, or distribute classes without appropriate authorization;
  • Copy or commercially exploit platform content;
  • Use the platform to promote unrelated commercial activities without authorization.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of an account.

13. Class Recording

Some live classes or sessions may be recorded for educational, quality-control, training, security, or administrative purposes.

Where recording is used, Tulay Académie will seek to provide appropriate notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law.

Users must not independently record, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit a live class without appropriate authorization.

14. Privacy

Tulay Académie may collect and process personal information necessary to provide its services, manage learner and tutor accounts, process payments, communicate with users, and operate the platform.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Tulay Académie's Privacy Policy.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the applicable Privacy Policy.

15. Third-Party Services

Tulay Académie may use third-party services to support certain functions, including payment processing, video conferencing, communication, scheduling, hosting, analytics, or other platform features.

The availability and use of these services may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant third parties.

Tulay Académie is not responsible for services or platforms operated independently by third parties.

16. Educational Disclaimer

Tulay Académie provides educational and tutoring services.

Participation in a course does not guarantee:

  • A specific examination result;
  • A specific academic grade;
  • Employment;
  • Immigration approval;
  • Admission to an educational institution;
  • Professional certification; or
  • Any other specific outcome.

Learning outcomes may depend on many factors, including the learner's effort, attendance, previous knowledge, practice, and individual circumstances.

17. Changes to Courses and Services

Tulay Académie may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue courses, tutors, schedules, materials, platform features, or other services when reasonably necessary.

Where a significant change materially affects an active subscription, Tulay Académie may provide appropriate notice or an alternative solution where required by applicable law.

18. Account Suspension or Termination

Tulay Académie may suspend or terminate an account if a user:

  • Violates these Terms of Use;
  • Engages in abusive or inappropriate conduct;
  • Provides false information;
  • Misuses the platform;
  • Fails to make required payments; or
  • Engages in conduct that may harm the platform, tutors, learners, or other users.

Where appropriate, Tulay Académie may provide notice before taking such action.

Termination of an account does not automatically eliminate any payment obligations or other responsibilities that arose before termination.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tulay Académie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from the use of the platform or participation in a course.

Tulay Académie does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. Force Majeure

Tulay Académie will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, government actions, public emergencies, war, strikes, or other extraordinary events.

21. Changes to These Terms

Tulay Académie may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

When changes are made, the updated version will be published through the platform with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of Tulay Académie after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
